Christchurch is the capital and largest city of the Aloian state of Wessex. Christchurch was named for Christ Church Cathedral. It is the seat of the Archdiocese of Christchurch. In 2015, the population was 365,000 people. Other large and rapidly growing cities are located along Wessex's southern border with Victoria. These suburbs of Zumbrota are expected to surpass Christchurch in size soon.
