The Archdiocese of Zumbrota is one of nine archdioceses of the Church of Aloia. Its current archbishop is Hans Nordin. It was created in 1849, when the capital of the Kingdom of Aloia was moved to Zumbrota. Its cathedral is the Cathedral of the Four Evangelists. The archdiocese is responsible for the Zumbrota metropolitan area, and as such, is the diocese which the royal family and many members of government are part of. The Archbishop of Zumbrota, along with the Archbishops of Uppsala and Halle, oversees coronations, and he performs royal baptisms himself.
