Protection Prefecture (Esperanto: Prefektejo de Protekto) is one of the seven prefectures of Kaevi. The population of Protection is estimated to be 3,000,000 as of 2015. Residents of Protection Prefecture are referred to as Protachi in English, and Protektano in Esperanto.
Protection is also home to the Kaevi National Institute of Erekatih, the primary nursing school in Kaevi. The prefecture is the most rural of the prefectures and many people who live there practice traditional lifestyles.
