Mos Maiorum, also known as Eurasian Polytheism and Maiorism, is a polytheistic faith originating in Julium in the early third millennium BCE. It is one of the largest religions in the world, and is the largest religion in the Eurasia. "Mos Maiorum" translates as the "way of the ancestors" from ancient Eurasian.
Mos Maiorum is based on the worship of twelve gods, known as the Dii Consentes. These gods are Jupiter (Jove), Juno, Venus, Mars, Apollo, Vulcan, Ceres, Diana, Vesta, Neptune, Mercury, and Minerva. Festivals to honor the gods are common, and are often celebrated nationally. Minor gods abound, and it is not uncommon for a household to worship gods specific to their family. The governing body of Mos Maiorum is Collegium Pontificum, or "Pontifical College". This is headed by the Emperor in his role as Pontifex Maximus, although it has become common for the Emperor to dictate this position to the Pontifex Maximus Inferior.
