The Partial Test Ban Treaty is the abbreviated name of the 1963 Treaty Banning Nuclear Weapon Tests in the Atmosphere, in Outer Space and Under Water, which prohibited all test detonations of nuclear weapons except for those conducted underground. It is also abbreviated as the Limited Test Ban Treaty and Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.

Propagated by the Kingdom of Arveyres in response to the Empire of Eurasia hosting a variety of missiles in Cuenca. The treaty seeked to prevent the testing of new thermonuclear weapons and as a preemptive to combat possible nuclear fallout. A test ban was also seen as a means of slowing nuclear proliferation and combating Eurasia's nuclear progression.

The treaty began within the nation of Arveyres among the provinces to appeal to the Empire to remove missiles from the city of Cuenca, but soon grew into an international proposal. The Empire of Eurasia has since become a signatory to the treaty following its rising significance in the international nuclear community.

Many nations have become signatories of the treaty, including Eurasia, adopting the policy of the treaty in 1986. The Kingdom of Aloia was an original signatory of the treaty but has since repealed their agreement to the treaty. Both Eurasia and the Kingdom of Duresia have also since passed legislative initiatives claiming the treaty is nonbinding since the respective Emperor and King who acquiesced to the treaty are both deceased. The Kingdom of New Tarajan signed the treaty only after the death of King Conrad III (1944 - 1975), however its respect of it has been subject to many controversies. The situation radically changed in the last decade of reign of Conrad IV and with the reign of his son Friederick Wilhelm II of New Tarajan (2010), who proclaimed a strict adherence of the Kingdom to the treaty, policy which has been even strengthened in the last years.
