The Rapax Test (Eurasian: Probatio Rapaxis) was the first nuclear test ever conducted in Esamir, detonated by the Empire of Eurasia during the Great War in 1943. It was detonated in the wilderness of Eurasian Newellia in a secret test. The production of the weapon cost the lives of thousands of Newellian civilians, as the Eurasians utilized slave labor, recruited from amongst the local Newellian populace, to mine the plutonium and uranium necessary to create the device.
