The ronan (Esperanto: ronano) is the currency of most of the Democratic Republic of Kaevi. The symbol that represents the ronan is "₭". The currency was created by royal decree of the Astoka Fiefdom monarch in 1885, and was put under a managed float regime in 1959 after being fixed to the value of gold beforehand.
The currency is divided into seven banknotes (in 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500₭ denominations) and five coins (in 0.05, 0.10, 0.25, 0.50, and 1.00₭ values). However, the Fisko de Kevio is known to make much higher denominations (at times ranging from 1,000-10,000₭) for holidays and historic events.
When making purchases, the final cost is rounded to the nearest 0.05₭.
