A Taratown is historically any ethnic enclave, of Tarajani people outside of mainland New Tarajan or any of its overseas territories, most often in an urbn setting. Areas known as "Taratown" exist throughout the world.
A Taratown, as a "Tarajani enclave", is defined as "... any small, distinct area or [Tarajani] group enclosed or isolated within a larger [non-Tarajani] group." The development of most Taratowns typically start with mass migration to an area having zero or very few Tarajani. A modern example of a Taratown still in existence is the Taratown located in Minneapolis, Aloia.
