Maiorists priests in a rural village performing the burning ceremony.

Vesperalia is a Maiorist holiday in Eurasia, celebrated on the 31st of October to mark the death of Potema Eurasia, who began the Interregnum and the War of the Red Diamond in the 1300's. The celebration includes burning of Potema in effigy and sacrifices to the gods that she might continue to suffer in the Underworld.

The celebration is extremely similar to the Germanic practice of Halloween, and indeed historians speculate that the practice of All Hallows' Eve originated in Germanic viewings of the Eurasian traditions. After the ritual effigy burning, children often go door-to-door in search of candy and sweets.
