The Duchy of Westphalia (German: Westfalen) is a state of Aloia. Westphalia is located in the southernmost of the three peninsulas that make up mainland Aloia. Westphalia is one of Aloia's German-speaking states. Dortmund is Westphalia's capital and Dusseldorf is the largest city. Dortmund and Dusseldorf are across Saint Peter's Channel from Augsburg, one of Aloia's oldest cities and the three cities together make up their own metropolitan area.
