Zessingen (Ascanian: Cessina, Lahr dialect: Züssingarn) is a city in central Duresia, in the Lyrian-speaking portion of the country.

Zessingen is the capital of the Duchy of Lahr and the capital of the district of the same name. With a population of about 2 million people, Zessingen one of the most populous city in Central Duresia, and a nexus of transportation, telecommunications, and government of this region. The city's urban area consists of 17 cities and towns located in three different cantons with an overall population of about 3 million people. The automotive company Audi AG has it's headquarters in Zessingen.

Due to its location on the shore of Lake Lahr (zu Lahrsee), within sight of Mount Larius and Rigi in the Duresian Alps, Zessingen has long been a destination for tourists. One of the city's famous landmarks is the Chapel Bridge (Kapelbrüg), a wooden bridge first erected in the 14th century.

The official language of Zessingen is High Lyrian, but the main spoken language is the local variant of the Central Lyrian Dialect known as the Lahr dialect.
